Red labels on bridges

Noticed on several bridges - but especially Runabout - red labels on various equipment (chairs, consoles, etc).  Anyone know what these are, what they say? (imagine they're warning or hazard labels).   Any good close-up pics? 

No guesses please    Just hardcore fact...

From what I remember they're serial numbers.

EDIT: Quite positive about it.

aye they look like standard rounded LCARS button, red/brown/grey/black/gold/silver (color depends on overall bridge color scheme, on Voyager they were dark grey/black, on Defiant/Danube - red) with white serial number printed on it.

Sometimes they have amusing quotes on them as well.

Thanks guys    But, for example, this is how look on GalaxyRefit bridge.   Is this canon, or a guess?   And are there any hi-res images available anywhere, or will I (or someone lol) have to make them up?

They're canon, as far as serial numbers can be... Best bet is to just use your favourite lotto numbers or something. ;)
