A Poll for My Upcoming BC Mod

Hello,
I've recently reinstalled BC and downloaded the popular KM mod, only to find that it runs poorly on my Mobility Radeon 9700 (64MB), 512 MB Sys. Ram. I decided to make a mod so that I can play it on my laptop when set details to "High". I also have a desktop pc with TNT2 and another laptop with sis630 intergrated chipset. It's apparently since many years ago BC modding community don't make med/low models & textures for their mods anymore. So here comes the poll for you:
Do you still have a PC or laptop with system ram less than 512 mb, or a video card having less than 64 MB of vga-ram , or even using a intergrated chipset which has poor or no 3D accelerations, and you still want to play BC on it with better, though not the latest models and textures, e.g. Pneumonic81, 9ofNine, or Redragon's work?
If there're more people think that there's no need for such a mod in BC community, I will still keep making the mod but will not release it.

I think their is a need for it, but to be honest you could easily build a pc capable for BC gaming for under ?200.

I agree, apart from Laptops, anyone can slam together a  good system for next to nothing that would easily handle BC.

The following spec could handle BC very well (this would probably see you on for the next year as well)

AMD 64 3000+ (AM2)
Foxconn K8M890M2MA-RS2H SKT AM2 DDR2 PCI-E 5.1
1GB Corsair DDR2 667MHz
80GB SATAII HD 8MB
256MB Geforce 7600 PCI-E
?250ish

So there is no point in a mod for this - it would be better to modernize hardware rather than drop back the development of the game.
