Too right it's Captain Proton's rocketship!

It's possibly what the TOS people would have loved to have had (For an alien ship ofc)

Hmm, since different franchises follow different laws of physics () I'll post my favorite of each franchise...

Star Trek - DJ Curtis's Century class Enterprise F, only with a few changes (in my head when I imagine it shooting through a nebula, changes being slight coloration change and nacelles.)

Star Wars - The YT series; 1300 and 2000 most prominently...

Other - Destiny (Stargate), Galactica (BSG-R) come to mind.

Gotta say, personally I prefer Dash Rendars ship over the entire YT line.

His ship is part of the YT line though.  YT-2400.  Personally you haven't lived Star Wars until you have played X-wing Alliance, which is where the YT-2000 comes from.

I'd go with the Falcon of course, and then RTD's Type 40 TARDIS.

Trekwise:  Galaxy, Sovvy, Intrepid, and Defiant...all sexy ships :D

I know, but the Falcon bugs me, and the 2000 just looks odd to me. Might just be my favouritism for Shadows of the Empire talking, but when I can't fly the Ebon Hawk, the 2400 is the choice. :P I loved X-wing vs TIE, but my dedication to my Interceptor stopped me from using any others!

Too many good guy ships. Nobody like the villian ships?

Hmmm - The Vor'cha class Klingon Attack Cruiser...The Venator Class Republic/Emperial Star Destroyer...K'T'Inga Class Battle Cruiser

Hero ships - Refit Connie, AGT Enterprise Dreadnaught, any Excelsior Class, Obert class (I know it's a science ship...but it just looks fast!), reimagined Battlestar Pegasus.

Actually, I lied about my favourite Sci-Fi ship of all time.

I think it's probably the Amarr Empire's "Avatar" class Titan. Along with most other Amarr ships...

funny, I was just thinking of creating an amarr character on EVE.. but I have to say that the Amarr Titan looks like a giant horse dong of doom.

Compared to the other Titans, the Avatar is beautiful. In order of ship aesthetics, best to worst (Of the 4 main empires):

Amarr     (GOURGEOUS)
Gallente  (Nice)
Minmatar (Hm, not bad...)

Caldari   (Ew...)

looks like an older version of one of the main baddies in Homeworld
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

to me, non-symmetric ships are big no no. hence why I hate Gallente and most of Caldari.. and simply admire Minmatar McGyverisms for ships, although Amarr ships look nice symmetry wise, they look too much like they just ejected molten metal into space and carved the ship inside it, just like Gallente.. just a little bit less bling.

Caldari..? yes, Drake is nice. but missile-spamming is very tiresome because it takes so long to hit.
