MeteorCreations BCC Gallery ( Updated 8-10-2007 Page 2 )

Thanks to Centurus and Nebula i now know how to create renders in 3ds MAX 8, and i have gotten pretty good at this from what they tell me. So now i would like to know what you all think of my work so here they are.

-Meteorafallen

*Edit: If any of you are wondering what those symbols are at the bottoms of the pictures that is my signature, which are my initials ( AJH ) in Galactic basic...which is the standard language in Star Wars.

*Edit* ( as of 2-18-07 )
I am now accepting requests. So if you have a ship you would like rendered here's what ya got to do:

You may choose from any of the backgrounds i have, or you may supply your own.

I have a moderate amount of meshes, but most of them are CGI, if you have a ship from BC that you want me to use it needs to be converted to 3ds or Max format. ( because i do not know how to convert meshes as of now )

You will need a title for your picture. ( thats kind of a given lol )

Thats not much to ask for, but if you do not know anyone that can convert the mesh contact me via MSN/WLM and i will try to get it  converted by someone i know.

-Meteorafallen

P.S. And if you like one of these backgrounds but it doesn't fit right on your desktop as wallpaper, because not many people have displays that support 1920x1080 let me know and i will send you an alternate resolution image. But be forewarned, the angle might not be the exactly the same for i have to reposition the ship when the backgrounds are stretched differently but i will try my best.

Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

nice work on there, indeed.

one thing I find questionable: the lighting.

the pic with the sun on the background has the sovereign lite from the front. I reccomend you render the ship separatedly trying to match the lighting you're going to use. like this:

nice work, tho. they are way accurate as wallpapers 8)

Mayne a few less stars visable in that last render there.... generally the sun's brightness would completely obscure most any stars.

Also, at the second image the lighting must be extremely more contrasting as the sun light in the back should be extreme, usually putting the main light source at the right position of the light source in your background helps, last thing is that the scene should be yellow lighten as the sun is clearly yellowish.

An excellent collection of wallpapers, very detailed , every considered packing them up in a zip or rar and submitting them to bcfiles (don't forget the radme.txt) They are great
