I installed KM 2009 and a bunch of other ships. This ran flawlessly for a few months but today I installed the SFP/BC2 E7 & C9 (inseresting I had downloaded the HOK previously and never got this problem) and plugged them in w/ BCMP, which seems to have screwed with my install in some way, probably something to do with the scripts. I have no idea what the problem is, and when I hit escape after the screen goes black I can get back to the main menu. Galaxy Charts also does the same thing. BC does not crash, and I can't see the yellow cursor, and I can hear the loading music. Again, I've never had this problem before.

{EDIT: I quit the program, and now it won't even launch! I get a C++ error, some rubbish about "fullscreen mode not supported"}

and please check out how to get a console report.
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

There is no need to do a full reinstall.

However there might be some issues if you are on vista or win 7 and the game is installed in program files directory.

To get a better understanding of the situation please tell us which windows version do you use before I make any further suggestions.

Also you might like the mod installer in BCUT, it automatically unpacks mod archives (rar, zip..) and installs the mod to the game.

you guys don't look at the download stats on FF, do you?
the usual order of downloads goes like this
Patch
Ship of the week 1
BCMI
BCMP
Ship of the week two

they really should take BCMI and BCMP off of filefront completely, BUT...

Coming Soon: King's Mod Tuning Shop

best line I've ever read
Me: mine [my bridges] would probably be simple to get the characters to use.  the only person that sits is the captian.
Baz: space is vast there[sic] legs will be tired by the time they get to the next planet

Unless the author requests a take down, it will not be taken down.

But maybe it can be moved to the Outdated Abyss?

they allready ARE in the outdated abyss.  but the access to them is not blocked, because there are still people with old comps around.  they work better with some older comps.  also, older mods still call for BCMI/BCMP, because BCUT wasn't concieved yet.

Per author request IIRC.

No they aren't. BCMP is in outdated abyss but BCMI isn't. BCMP is there because BCMI was released and is the successor of BCMP.

Besides there are still some people who prefer to use BCMP over BCUT I suppose. We can't impose our own will to them, no matter what you or I or the rest of the community may think.
