Textures still lack alot of detail, such as... windows. And I can't tell, but I don't think you have any aztec panelling either, which is common to TNG-era ships.
A ship this small wouldn't have an Aztec pattern would it? The Equinox class doesn't have any. I don't even think Voyager had a distinctive Aztec pattern and she's twice as big as this.
what did you do as that looks like the aztec I added?
yeah they both do have clear aztecing dude...
Perhaps the Intrepid Class does on closer inspection, but it's still not as noticeable or dramatic as a ship as large as the Galaxy Class. And the Nova class doesn't have any at all from what I can see. They could be covered up by the burn marks but if you look at the area around the two forward windows starboard side, you can see it's one big panel. The Aztec pattern is supposed to be all the different hull plates made up into a pattern. A ship this small simply has a set of large panels so it doesn't glisten in the sunlight like a Galaxy class which is made up of hundreds of smaller panels.Of course this is what I gather. I'm not a modeler or anything so these are just outside observations.
Why no phasers aft along the nacelle pylons, or along the back of the saucer (if you remove the warp field governor & the pylons supporting it)? Perhaps a phaser blister, a small dome under the warp field governor that sprays a widened beam like a flashlight beam and does equal damage to a contemporary phaser strip over a slightly wider area on an enemy contact? Perhaps a small decimal-sized phaser strip-segment just above and/or below the impulse engines?
