I found this a cool little program a while back that turns your desktop into an LCARS terminal. Still has some bugs and stuff but it's pretty cool.

To answer your question, it's like an alarm :P, or IIRC you can set it to turn your computer off or on standby.

yeah... well anyway back to the LCARS it's great to have and if you want to use the incremental build the most recent is jan 1st 2010 so yeah check it out!
