it's incomplete or corrupted beta, stops your MSN messenger etc from working properly, and only way to get rid of it is doing a system restoration.

I have it and nothing went wrong for me and the only thing I have against it is the name thing... but there is an easy work around.

That's the least of its problems. The smileys look terrible, they removed the sounds and the writing thing.

removed what sounds?(everything dealing with sounds is still there) and as for smileys you can always add your own...

well, despite system restole, WLM sounds don't work for me and the icon in taskbar is gone.. only the rectangle displaying the status color remains.

have you checked the options menu for sounds? also have you tried to look for solutions on google cause I remember something about that icon issue a while back.

i have it installed and it hasnt given me ANY problems, it works fine, you probably had a bad download....
