EF2 Romulan Bridge Crew w/ D'Voridex Bridge v.1.0 (Beta)
« on: December 05, 2010, 10:21:43 PM »
Hi All,

I may have been gone for a while, but I haven't been Idol...

With "Special Permission" from my old modding cohort Mark. I'm releasing modifications made for the EF2 bot, too be released for a major project, I will post about later on. This particular project was a bit of a challenge for Me, the EF2 Romulans

So, here is my take my a favorite Trek species. The Uniforms are a modification from W4RBIRD's EF2 original (used with permission). I plan on making canon versions. But for now, this post nemesis take gives it a fresh look. Also included is a re-texture of the Excalibur Bridge set. This includes new Custom Romulan LCARS based off of the ST: New Worlds intro, that I made from scratch. This bridge set is compatible with Bridge Plugin Core Gold. This set will not conflict with Lurok91's released set (Which by the way was very cool). :P

Here are some pics of the EF2 Romulan Crew on the D'Voridex Bridge...

Actually, I posted this up because I'm moving on too making uniforms for Excalibur. I decided to release these works because they are one of the last things I will be doing for Bridge Commander.

As for the "Cartoony" comment? I'm sure you have released better.

Bridge looks fine to me :P

though the green buttons could use a little less brightness! XD
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

Hey there mate ! glad to see you here ;) bridge looks fine, I would desaturate those buttons by 35-40 % and add some more shades of green to them, maybe even add some teal and white.

The rest looks great, maybe some more browns and beiges here and there would add more atmoshpere to it but that's just my taste :P

great work

I find your lack of tact disturbing.

The set itself looks pretty good, along with the Romulan crew. Am I correct in assuming the majority of the kinks in old EF2 crew alpha release have been worked out? (From the pics it looks like they've been taken care of).

Always a pleasure to see something with BR32's brand on it.  ;)

Love the attention Romulans have been getting recently, and the fact that this is essentially a 2-for-1. I think the crew is awesome as they are, but must agree that while I love where the set itself is going, it could possibly stand to be a little less... Bright, with a few other complimenting colours here and there.

That said, I'd still use what is shown right there as is! Keep up the great work, on both projects!

Thanks for your interest Guys. :D

To answer your Questions, These are the same EF2 alpha bots. Neither I, or Mark have the bots in 3dsmax form. The screen pics show I discovered how to camouflage the starfleet comm badges.

Here are some more in-game pics. :P

Nice job as usual  and it has been a while but we are always glad to here from you. Am I to understand that this will be a total conversion similar to your Cardassian Bridge and crew release only with EF2 bots?

Thanks for your comment. :)

Yes, This is apart of a much larger project I've been working on over the years, that includes a revision on the Male XO Total Conversion. The voice files are now unisex. Ex. A Male helmsman will have a male voice, A Female Science officer will have a female voice. Also name and rank will be singular to a customized .TGL. This particular mod here will be released separately, as will my version of the Klingons and the Feds. This will include all eras of uniforms (ENT/TOS/TNG/VOY/NEM).

I will post a separate thread on the subject, here this evening.
