Simplifying meshes question
« on: December 16, 2010, 02:35:36 AM »
What's best way to remove/reduce number of faces in a mesh but still keep shape of object?    Is it best to do by face, or by vertices?

Max has a Optimis modifier, this is a quick way of doing it though I have only used this in charactor heads so far.

Using that modifier produces mixed results.  Use it with caution, cause it can actually deform a shape.
