Don't think he meant Modeling it Flare LOL

It's a good start, and I can't wait to see what you come up with!

hi dude
getting fed up? why's that? this should be enjoyable for you hope you don't give up.
I know its bloody hard to do these designs but just take your time. seriously mate there is no deadline.

and in regards to my request for pics... yes i meant drawings rather than models.

(note: i'll help all i can but i have a baby in my life now so i'm not always able to help)

A VERY BIG WARNING, I have got the designs done and they will be uploaded, the warning is that i am currently unable to model this ship due to 3ds max not agreeing with my copy of xp on my quad corr machine, which i model on, i will be able to hely map out the textures, but thats all, so keep an eye on this for all views uploaded as a .zip file and as attached images.

heres a revised side view.

NOTE: i kept miscaling the length on the nacells, theyre supposed to be 2 to 7 cm longer on the drawing.

looks neat.
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

ok long time since i replied here, no real update  :( sadly because i need to rethink part of the design but im going to say that as soon as i get this redesigned and all set up, im hoping this can start to be modeled, also ive started another project which i want you guys to take a look at when you can, its in the art forum, and its called "some planned ships for BC..." or something like that.

ok now that ive looked at things more thoroughly, im deciding to leave it at the initial designs, the nacells will be the only things that change, that in the sence that theyre the length in the dorsal view, but extend out a quater of the nacell length in warp, like hobb's original design, and im also thinking that it will be 25 decks. hopefully when in colledge ill finally learn how to model how you guys do, keep watching my art forum threads for updates.

LOL, i didnt see that untill now, i was trying to imitate the shape of the proteus' deflector band, guess i got a little over zealous, still this ones gonna be a beaut when done.
GOD i hope it doesnt look THAT skewed and mis-aligned when modeled, that would be BAD.

ok no real update aside to say that i wish someone would take this up at some point because im way to far off from learning to model for myself (at least a year away now), so if anyone feels like something to do, look at this design, PLEASE!  :(

Judging by the looks of most modders WIP list, chances for accepting model request are slim ;)
