Definite cookie for the Scimitar  bridge    That's one always loved and wanted to do but have put off to way down line as planned others first.  Nice to see someone brave enough to have a crack at it.  I'd say keep working at it coz def possible to get ingame and you'll get a lot of help/advice.   You should post bridge pics in Bridge Modding forum also as I assume those are Max models rather than simply artwork.

I have not posted on the bridge modding section because I do not know when they'll finish  :roll!
I have a lot of bridge project .. tos shuttle, st3 excelsior, Hathaway (tng "a perfect strategy"), generic alien
and some engineering section (i like the idea to use eng section as a bridge)

The galaxy refit is a mesh both sov saucer and galaxy eng!
The "new class" is a ent-J era  my reference is from the contest STO for the new enterprise F concept but is not the same obviously, I only took a few ideas:thumbsup:

No need to be so modest  :)   Looks like you're doing really good work here and seem to have got further than many others who've tried bridge modding.  Heck, you've even got bridges ingame!   Bridge section full of unfinished projects, but I just thought that if you posted there maybe more will see your work and offer help than perhaps here in art forum?   But it's your decision

Some WIP - D.A.C Enterprise test
« Reply #12 on: December 20, 2011, 07:21:40 PM »
With Work and the exams at university i  do not have much time to finish my W.I.P.
But in my free time i finish my work on D.A.C Enterprise imported in Bridge Commander.
The texture are stock from the DAC game but i add  bussard animation and canon blinking lights close to film.
This is a test video ingame :P enjoy:

I posted here because I'm not sure that the ship will be completely finished.
and do not put a post in the mod section If I can not finish anything.

Cookie for impressive effort  :)  And 2mb model is nothing.  Be interesting to see more, especially after refined textures...

Lurok's correct about a 2mb model not being a big deal.  BC's engine loves models and polys, but hates textures.

Impressive work here.  *Cookied*

Nice job with the DAC Enterprise!  It looks like you pulled the nacelles closer together.

Also....Duck Dodgers!  In the 24th and a half CENTURY!!!!

:funny yes my Duck Dodgers ship.
yes i pulled the nacelles closer in DAC Enterprise.

Now first tray EF2 sov bridge render with Vray :P  I retextured some part, it's looks similar to nemesis version.

If the only thing you've shown that gets released is the Duck Dodgers ship, I'll be happy. :P

I have to say, the DAC Enterprise looks fantastic, especially the running lights.  The only thing that's dragging it down is the curvature on the secondary hull, the torpedo launcher, and the forward part of the neck.
