Is there a hull color reference sheet out there?
« on: February 13, 2011, 08:17:29 AM »
Anything like Suricata had on his blog a long while ago (See below) that has the actual values, or just samples of the color at least? One thing I find irritating is that after some google-fu all I could find were ones for the Uniforms.   Finding an accurate color of the Connie model isn't as easy as I thought it would be.

If anyone is able to help out it'd be great, not just to me but it would be something I think any new modders could be pointed to for reference.

...Probably not, but the number I get(379.6m) could be considered ?original intent,? a term that I think I will be using from now on, and ?canon? be damned.

Here is some references for TOS Enterprise and Klingon D7 I found.

Also for the TMP connie the base hull is white

the aztec it made up of white mixed with interfence peril paints, these are the swatches I used for my latest connie.
Whatever knocks us back, can only make us stronger.

here's the colors used on the original Enterprise D miniature:

I got fairly close to mimicing how it appears on screen by substituting the Blue and green hull panels with light and dark ghost gray on my model
