Ah, I finished that section yesterday. I really liked that area, though it was placed in an odd location on the ship.

The Turbo-balls were weird, though. Again, that was another great section.

Really?  I thought it was a great place for officer's quarters.  They don't have to run the entire saucer section to get to their post, especially if any of them are on the bridge.  Now SPOCK'S quarters...that was oddly placed.

Simple solution to the Gorn/other galaxy thing is that the Gorn in TOS and STO are only one of the many Gorn species we see in the game, and that one had developed a niche in our galaxy a long time ago.  The alternate universe Gorn are the modern descendants of the Gorn empire talked about in STO's backstory.  Just my theory.

I'm not saying it was badly placed, it does make sense. Just wasn't expecting it to be where the rec room should be. :p

We see Spock's quarters?

Thinking about downloading this for PS3, is it any good?  Would you guys recommend it?  Sorry but I don't have time to read 10 pages of comments.

I'd give it a 6 or 7 out of 10.  If you enjoyed Kirk and Spock in the new movie, that might be enough for you to enjoy it.  The gameplay leaves a bit to be desired, but otherwise the story, cast, and music is all pretty good.

Wow, thank goodness the warp core didn't just look like beer vats this time. :funny

Ran into ANOTHER f***ing glitch, this time while trying to get Chekov's sorry butt to Sickbay.  One of the infected red-shirts was INVINCIBLE.  I couldn't stun him, couldn't kill him, couldn't do anything.  Kirk should remember that man for the next landing party.

The rec room on the refit Enterprise was in the saucer rim, the officer's quarters were well above that.  And yes, Spock's quarters are where he and Jim are having their match of 3D Chess when the game begins.

Ah, I forgot about that in the opening.

Isn't the rec room that structure directly under the bridge on the refit? So the crew quarters would have been below that.

On the new Enterprise, the officer's lounge (which is what you're remembering) is behind the bridge, not below it.

Just finished...what an abrupt ending lol.  Still, not a bad game for what it is.  It could've used some more polish and a bit more exploration of the Enterprise herself(the way it sounded in previews, I thought the ship would be like a hub between missions like the SSV Normandy), but all in all, pretty decent for a licensed game.  The glitches and uninspired gameplay(seriously, it wouldn't have hurt to borrow a BIT more from Mass Effect) keep it from being great.  Ranks around the same as the Ghostbusters game in my book, maybe slightly lower.

So it's the bit above where it says USS Enterprise? (Never noticed that marking was there before.)

It also lacked a bed.

What's your final verdict on this then guys? Steam has it on sale for ?10 so I thought I might give it a shot. Did any of the issues get patched in the end?
If not, I can deal with Skyrim being a buggy mess so I can probably deal with this

Crappy game.  Fun if you're a Star Trek fan.  Devilishly funny with a co-op partner.
Thanks for letting me know the forum was back up, guys.  I thought everyone died.

Played it once, haven't really gone back through.  It's alright.  The AI sucks and the glitches are annoying.  Especially that one I had with the immortal red-shirt.

Haven't finished it yet. It's not the greatest game. Just a bit of fun. Story seems good, graphics could have been better. Gameplay could have done with just an extra bit of work. I'd give it about a 7/10.
