Yet again, really reminded of Mass Effect's gameplay, and considering that Kirk and Spock heading to the turbolift is in-game and not a cutscene, that could definitely mean some free-roaming around the Enterprise interior.

Alright, this is officially is on my to-get list for next year! People who played the demo at E3 are saying that it is just as awesome to watch as it is to play. I've only been seeing postives about this game so high hopes for sure.
All hail the messiah!

I'm really not sure what to think.  The voice acting sounds a bit off, the graphics seem underwhelming, the gameplay seems ME3 like (no bad thing) but most of all...
The bridge looks like it's suffering from a case of STO-itis.

I'll probably be waiting a while before I get this one!

STO-itis?  That's what the bridge looks like.  As for the voice acting, how can it sound off?  It's the actual actors.

I don't normally do this for trek games but......

FANBOY SQUEAL!

As for it sounding off, I think that it's simply because us old timers are used to Shatner, Nemoy, Takai, and Doohan providing the voices.

I'm liking this game!
You know what's brilliant about that bridge screenshot?  You can actually see the bridge.  The lighting is dimmed and all the detail pops out!  I sure hope we get to see softer lighting like that in the next movie.

As long as the game has a strong art style I don't really mind if it's a little lower-res than the hardcore graphical games.  Mind you guys they have until next year to polish everything up.  And we already got an amazing shot that wraps around the enterprise and goes into the bridge just like the movie, that impressed me.
Thanks for letting me know the forum was back up, guys.  I thought everyone died.

Have to say, I agree with ShaunKL 100%. The lens flares in the movie certainly detracted somewhat from the aesthetics of the bridge, but I rather liked the design. And this co-op game look really cool I think. Not sure about the revamped "Gorn" look thou.

It's better than the old.  I also imagine there will be different classes of Gorn.  These fast and furious ones are probably going to turn into the cannon fodder.  I expect there will be large two meter tall ones that move slowly and will throw extremely large crap at you.  Think like STO.

You got it FarShot, they've stated there'll be multiple classes of Gorn.  And hey, at least they don't have visible zippers now lol

STO-itis?  That's what the bridge looks like.

It seems far bigger than what I remember.  Must watch that film again..

To be honest it sounds like they're just reading lines from a script, bored out of their wits.

The wrap around shot of the ent which then zoomed in on the bridge impressed me though.  I hope they dump the nasty sounding "ping" noise you hear as you go around the ship..

In perspective, the Enterprise is checking out New Vulcan.  Nothing interesting really.  I'd be all like, "We're in orbit of... eh you know... *yawn*," as well. :P

But they do mention that something is up.  I think it's Spock that remarks that they haven't received any signals.
Forgive my attitude towards this game, but you all know what happened with Legacy!

Legacy!

 :argh: Terrible game.

This one looks good. Legacy was generic space ship shooter and even then the bugs took out all the fun in mindless shooting. The developer for this one isn't using the Armada engine to make a 360 game.

This looks great.

Reminds me a bit to Elite Force but with better graphics.

And unlike DAC, this one is being done by a developer with a pedigree.

If the actor is completely new to voice-acting or actually phoning it in that can degrade the performance.

I didn't really notice anything wrong with the performances voice-wise.  In fact, I thought Quinto sounded a bit more like Spock than he did in the movie.

New trailer.

Still reminds me of Mass Effect (not a bad thing as it's possibly my favourite game franchise).

The music also sounds like Mass Effect music.
