First off, I want to kill my brother.  Why?  He has my scanner and he's 180 miles away!  Arg!

Second, some of you may know that I wasn't too happy with DJ Curtis's Eclipse.  More specifically, I thought and think it is a fabulous design.  But I just don't like seeing the name Enterprise on it.  The same with the Excalibur-fantastic, but just doesn't seem right to have Enterprise on it.  If I were to redesign the Eclipse so, in my opinion, it would be a better fit for the name Enterprise, I would lose the triangular look of the saucer, to something more like this...

Need some help.  Anyone have good references of the transporter thingies on the hulls of starships?  You know, those yellow-ish rectangles.

those yellow bits are the Pattern Enhancers?  i thought they were ALL escape pod tops.  somebody point me to a tech difference, please.

No, yellow just contrasts well, not to mention it's the general "Caution" colour. Buffers have a set of grille style ridges along them, and escape pods tend to have either black, red, or brown decals around the borders.
