Is my single player "broke"? ep2m2
« on: February 02, 2012, 05:07:38 AM »
Episode 2 mission 2, the cards vs. the ferrengi.
Example:
&feature=related

I can get up to the point in the mission where you are 200km out from the ships and you need to go orbit the moon to get a better scan. I do everything exactly the same as in the video shown there (under green alert), but after clicking orbit moon and beginning to move I am detected and the ferrengi are destroyed, instead of the game loading the intercepted message sequence.

No idea what to do here, even trying to fly manually behind the moon still triggers "detection" and the cardassians turning on the ferrengi and destroying it sequence.

first, I think that's the glitchy piece of the single player
second, ANY mods installed crash the single player game.  in order to use SP, you MUST be using the base game and its patch, NOTHING ELSE.

Yep, forgot to add this is a fresh install with nothing more than 1.1 official patch.

I got where I screwed up, although I don't see it in the video. I didn't reduce weapon and shield power to 0 before orbiting the moon. It works now  :roll
