So how exactly are you creating this effect? Something to do with the games nebula/asteroid field placement tied in with some object animation?

The 60 Dark Matter Bubble models have a simple rotation tied to it's location.

I added the extra function called, "NiAlphaProperty" to the "NiTriShape" in Nifskope.   This is the mechanism that gives your model transparency. The flag# standard is 237.  This is the function I play around with, to get all these different effects you see in my videos.

Edit:
The objects textured animation is created by another function called "NiFlipController". This cycles through every texture that is assigned to it. You can have 4 textures...or you can have 50 (like I have on my Badlands Vortex.) I will make a video at some point on that. How to use Nifskope for the purpose of generating some cool effects with the transparencies.

I can only use what BC can handle. :-P

Update - 09/20/2021

In the picture below is roughly, 1.2 Million Polys in BC.  Moo ha ha ha ha!! :yay:
I brightened up the picture a bit so you all can see better.

Below that one is 600K polys and the map was changed to make it bright enough to see.

This is actually the part I am most interested in, can you describe how this was done?

I have been doing it by InsertNameSystem.py , and a nice little script that will make the object move in which ever direction you like. As long as it doesn't fly anywhere. I think that breaks the curse or something. I don't know...

Shhhhhhhh...........

That last video, the Black Hole Rings model used the "_glow.tga" textures to light it. In the video below, I removed those and took them out of the "Scripts/Ships/Ship.py" as well. All damage is set to 0.  When I load this in BC now, it creates no "_vox.nif" file.

But I was supposed to show off my Testing Spheres. lol 100 Different "NiAlphaProperty - Flag" settings. I didn't edit the Threshold as I thought I did, another time.

Trying out the Torus Knot. :-P Mapped it differently, and am using the same textures as the slipstream model I have.

I may expand on this idea and create a...Starship Race Track. lol

Loving that slipstream Cord!

If I'm not mistaken, with a little color variation; I think you just created the Vadwarr under space from ST: Voyager! :D

Planetoid has a Multi Texture...same with the DS9FX Akira, but that one won't be available for release. It's there just for showcase.

There are 3 Stars in this map, has 3 directional lights. Giving all the models a Blue, Reddish Purple and Turquoise look to them.

Am setting up the scripts now, getting ready for a Beta...if anyone is still around to sign up. Lol

Back at it soon, cheerio!
