I just wanted to say - I think the Bortas is an absolutely beautiful ship - far better designed than the Odyssey.
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
 We are not now that strength which in old days
 Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
 One equal temper of heroic hearts,
 Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
 To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

...it's not really going anywhere but I like it  :D

Perhaps until some work is generated, it should be moved to Trek|Ships or else merged with the STO forum

Aye, the Bortas is nice, but in STO im more of a BOP kind of guy, and until i bought the B'rel retrofit yesterday, the QulDun BOP was my most used ship, and favourite by aesthetics.  Anyways, it isnt going anywhere for now because i cant model nor do good textures, i do scripting, hence i placed this thread as somewhat of a recruitment thread in which someone would do volunteer to do mesh and textures while i do the ships scripting, and possibly MVAM,so that KDF ships from STO starting with the Quldun, and a Gorn ship, could be in Bridge commander,  but no one is free enough right now to volunteer. Still, i say, if anyone is interested, im still willing to do so.

 I'm doing the gorn ship for this thread but what I have been finding is that is not a lot of great views you know. what I'm looking for and I'm having to define halfway what I want to see in 3 d so when I get something more definitive I'll put something down on the thread.

This something i defintely use help on. There is just no orthos. And i dont like doing half a job on a model.

True, well since finding pictures on that one is difficult, you could try the Quldun if you want, since in STO, it is playable, hence 360 degree views are possible, there are many pictures of it, and i have recently learned how to make bird of prey ships MVAM,hence the option of giving it folding wings is there. I will still keep trying to find pictures for it.

that said, thanks NX-809, those pics of the QulDun and the Vorcha refit are superb
