I'm remapping the Sentinel, and this time it will be using ID maps.

Nice!

What are those red thingys on the top deck near the bridge?

BTW, just a friendly reminder for you to release the fix for the backward text on the starfleet pennant for your Sovvies  :)

Looking slick.  I'm guessing the phaser strips are gonna be textures only on this one to conserve polies?

The bridge area is unmapped.

I plan on fixing that also.

No, they are not in the frame. I moved them off so I can texture the ship easier. The saucer is now on ONE texture (using symmetry).

considering the only successful model I've ever built was the Citadel from Mass Effect (got to find some time to port it and realease it ) the fighter I took for modeling might be a challenge :D so you're not alone phoenix ;)

Here's another work-in-progress, the new Akira Class. Ignore the mesh issue at the bridge, it is an issue caused by welded vertices from the symmetry modifier.

Excellent!

But the sharp areas of the catamarans (top parts especially) need to be more "rounded" off.

Seeing as this is an Invasion Mod, do you think you could do hull colour varients, like was done on the intimidator class, where you had the war varient, normal and prototype colourings? i feel this would be a unique touch to these excelent quality ships when theyre done.

I was never a fan of the 3-nacelled Sovereign.

As for color variants, that might be a possibility for the Valkyries.

Done with that area, plus I added some details, and the bridge module.
