Are you using a mod for companion horse riding?  I remember that is an issue associated with one of the mods.  I think it's the Ultimate Follower Overhaul mod.

Hmm, don't remember having that issue with fast dismount.  But anyways, the small price you pay for purely epic gaming, amiright?

No. Just, no. Bugs are to be expected, but Skyrim clearly had next to no QA done on it, and that's plain wrong.

Speaking of Skyrim, I bought it on Steam yesterday (Steam sale). Even though I already have it on 360.

Works a treat on my new PC - seeing the words "Settings have been set to Ultra High Quality" is a good feeling after building a PC. Plus additional graphics mods and the high resolution textures.

Well, considering that I've played at least 400 gameplay hours with my main and had no corrupted saves or anything game breaking like that, I don't see any major issue with bugs.  Just the occasional hiccup is all.

Then again there are a ton of ridiculously stupid things - tons of weapons with broken enchantments, broken improving, quests conflicting (due to a bug I was unable to finish the main quest in my first character because the quest "Discerning the Transmundane" breaks the main quest if you do it before the main quest), getting stuck in werewolf form forever (this happened on my second character) and many really stupid things that may be fixable on PC but not on console. Indeed, these innumerable irritations drove me crazy, so I ended up buying the PC version even though I had the (vastly inferior) 360 version.

And every Bethesda game is like this.
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
 Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

TBH, i DID play it on PS3 for the first time, but it is SOO MUCH better on PC.

i walked though SOO MANY walls on PS3, I.E. sprinting into a certain wall corner in the Dawnstar Sanctuary will drop you off the map and end you up in the area Cicero "added on"... and you couldnt fast travel out... IDR how the hell i got back into the sanctuary again without restarting...

in all honesty i boil all this down to a sh!tty port... even though they came out all at the same friggin time.
i just WISH i had a rig with the BRAINS to run a MODDED Skyrim... considering FarShots hype over it, its GOTTA be sweet.

Every game I have the chance to modify a game's content, I take advantage of it.  A developer has only so much time and resources to put into a game before it must be released.  Skyrim is one of the most complex so it's understandable that it would have bugs.  The beauty of modibility is that a game's lifespan can be infinitely expanded and its playability can be infinitely enhanced so long as someone is interested in doing so.  Thankfully Skyrim is very modable, and I hope it continues well past the Elder Scrolls Online.

end you up in the area Cicero "added on".

I do love Cicero, I adore him, it's so funny to deck him out in dragon priest masks and the like. He's my chief follower. I mainly use him for beating the shit out of Ulfric Stormcloak in the Palace of the Kings with pickaxes as I stupidly sided with the Stormcloaks.

never kept cicero alive so far... maybe i will with my new breton character.. i always wasted the f*cker for tearing up the sanctuary.

as for the civil war sides... i played both sides before.. not really much of a difference to me story wise

Come one come all, step right up and have your picture taken with a REAL dragon skeleto here in snowy Dawnstar, slain by the dragonborn! Best attraction in all of Tamriel!

I SWEAR I didnt set this up.. It did it all by itself. :D

Yes, it is. I got it from skyrim nexus. The masamune is there as well.

Does 168 dmg when maxed out to legendary.

I just loaded that save up, cuz I stopped there and saved last night, now the skeleton is sitting in the EXACT same place just shaking. That sword hit soo hard I put it into a seizure after death rofl. I wish I could record this.
