Oh, I remember that secondary targeting thing. I'm pretty sure it came with a "blind firing" mechanic as well!
I never got the secondary targeting system to work though.  It just did nothing lol.
yeah that was part of a megamod made by sleight42 but then finished and completed by Admiral Ames, MLeo, Defiant and JWattsJr...
called "Tech Framework"...
and, the secondary targeting does work indeed, you just have to know how to do it lol :P
which is, target one ship and fire, then hit Secondary Target, target the next ship and fire, then go back to fire upon the first target and then youll be firing at both...  incidentally, you can do more than two targets by repeating those steps...

and most of these mods are working in KM QB.
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

I've been here since, 2004 I think, on BCU. I would have been 11-ish

I had Bridge Commander since launch but had no idea about the modding community. Then again I didn't mod much back then on any game.

I went to that Star Trek Universe forum Jimmy linked, I had a chuckle at this thread

Lol, all of you calling yourselves old...

I started lurking at KA.com in 1999, posting in 2000. When BC was announced, what would become BCU bubbled off KA.com. Anyone remember John Addison? (Senator, you're not allowed to answer).

Crikey - this community has an amazing pedigree.

Senator, any time I see your name, I'm reminded of the fan-fic forum on KA.com, and that epic joke-turned-collaborative-saga, Spam Wars. That is one of the most amazing threads I've ever read.

Aaaah, Nostalgia!

Klingon Academy now works on XP/Vista/Win 7 thanks to one dude's patches, click here for details. I highly recommend it!

I do :)

I joined BCU on the 26th of February 2003, I only remember it because my BDay is on the 23rd, just turned 18 then.
