SCE Liverpool formerly Psygnosis closed.
« on: August 24, 2012, 04:40:57 AM »
Yep, this pretty much ruined my day when I read this, one of the greatest developers of the 90's and early 00's gone. They made Colony Wars, G-police, Lemmings and of course Wipeout among other games. Chances were if you owned a PS1 you owned a Psygnosis game. Sad news indeed.

I did, I had Colony Wars and loved it. Sad day for the British gaming industry and Liverpool

Such a shame! D: I still play all 3 Colony Wars games from time to time.

I owned a ps1 and never had any of those games. I must be in the minority!

Still sad to hear this though.  I played Wipeout 2097 as well as lemmings back in the day.  damn good games!
I miss :bigdance:
