Can someone port or help me port a mesh?
« on: October 31, 2012, 10:06:31 AM »
Hello BC Central.

I am revising a mesh for a buddy over here who doesn't work with models (and my knowledge is Legacy only). Is there someone who can take a mesh and convert it to .nif, iron out whatever smoothing issues come from the conversion? It looks like the milkshape exporter doesn't work that well, but I cant seem to find a good tutorial on exporting to nif.

blender at one point had a nif exporter. nif scope can import .3ds and .obj meshes and save them as .nif

what meshes are you looking to do?
You may know me as Batoy853 elsewhere...

I have a revamp to the Vesta, but if I can get this moving along I actually have several unreleased works. Everything from an Mvam capable Promie to a Stargate Ancient Cruiser. I'm not a BC player, so I have no idea if my export looks good ingame or not, but if there are interested BC players, I'd be glad to help port some things.
