i have the ship in bay and set up... as far as i can tell.  :D

no bump mapping, as the texture files are set up wit BC-Friendly TGA maps, with Speculars set up based on what was in the Alpha Channel of the provided TIFF images.

all in all 10 1024 maps. (5 diff 5 spec)

^i would reccommend making these engine ports glow.. but thats me

if somethings amiss, let me know guys.
I came, i saw, i added a Sig.
Later gents, i have Youtube to take over.

Looks awesome! However there is a problem I see, Prowler_Front_Main has the wrong texture applied to it :S frigate_base should be the texture that goes there. This probably comes from building it in sections :p I did not know that BC did not like that..

Should call it the Forge instead of Foundry.

I didn't realize, it had so many missile placements , until my nephew showed me.

Yeah, these things are like practically what happens when a battlestar and basestar have a baby: missiles for capital ships, guns for fighters, and a giant coilgun just for the hell of it. (not sure if this ship will have one)

Called a MAC in-universe.  The Mother of Invention in Red vs. Blue had one.  My vote is yes, give her a MAC.

Yes, it is equipped with a magnetic acceleration cannon on deck 4. it takes up most of the upper middle part of the ship. you can see the barrel of the cannon in a few of the screens above. I'll post photos latter tonight of what is what and how it should be hard-pointed

OH those look good, might want to ask But I don't think Speculars need to be that big. :D

I knew it was called a Magnetic Accelerator Cannon, but I called it a coil gun for effect. Anyway I wasn't sure Elijah would give her one given her size (and the fact that RvB isn't exactly universe canon) but it is good to know that she will carry one.

All UNSC frigates have One MAC as their primary weapon plus several Archer missile pods and point defense turrets as well as a few shivas ;). Loving the textures by the way.

Well, most ships do, not alllll of the. The ship we are currently working on is around 3/4th the size of the ship on RvB so it would not be hard to imagine that it would be equipped with a MAC.

Quick question for you guys: After this is all finished, what is another Halo Universe ship that you would like to see made?

The Infinity :D

Baring that, I'd say either a the Marathon class cruiser or the Paris class (halo reach frigate), although the UNSC destroyer would also be good as well.

I'm leaning to the Marathon class at this point. My modeling skills are not toooooo awesome and the more recent halo ships have 900,000% more details than the older ones. I'll start with the old and work my way up haha. Also, if you guys have any tips or anything that would help. I like making models, but am pretty new to how things are run in BC.

What version of the Halcyon class do you guys like more? The one that is in Reach, or the one that is in the classic Halo 1?

Both have there merits, though you may be better off with the CE:A version as it has a few more details.

If you make the Halcyon class, make it the Reach/CE:A version.  You have to assume that was the intended appearance of the Autumn, if in 2001 they could've gotten away with it.  You should be able to kitbash that model and with some modeling magic, make a Marathon class.
