Sir Patrick Moore has died.  I honestly thought that guy would go on forever.

Watched him in a Morecambe and Wise sketch a couple of days ago. Awesome guy.

Fond memories of sitting late at night with my Dad in the 70's and 80's watching the Sky at Night, between Sir Patrick and the late great Carl Sagan my imagination was forever fueled by "what does the cosmos hold for us"

He was great.  I have a couple of astronomy books written by him. Excellent books.
