Last week, I was contacted by the Associate Art Director at Simon and Schuster and they mistook my render as something from Paramount. They even offered me money for use of the picture. Me and the Associate Art Director are waiting on Simon & Schuster's Purchasing Department (payment maybe?).

In addition, they offered if they could use some of my other artwork in possible future projects. I responded asking if they could use me as a sub-contracted/freelance artist.

On another note, IDW has traced over some of my renders in their recent ST: TNG "Hive" comic series.

You couldn't ask for a better compliment on your work, my friend.

HATE to rain on parade, but if he sold it wouldn't it be making money off, of a BC item, and there fore open the BC community up.

But sure glad it has been recognized. in the World

I don't see it that way. This is not a render from the BC Nif but his original files in a proper render software.

I belive the non-profit stuff relates to selling mods to the community. His model remain his so what he does with it outside BC is his business.

Nice one Wiley

I think the issue is more with using CBS designs. However, since S&S must have a license from CBS to do it, that should cover work commissioned.
