My First Live-Action Footage Exercise
« on: March 06, 2013, 05:20:14 AM »
So I know that I've posted a lot of cool renders here in the Sci-Fi Renders section of the forum, but as of late I've also been dabbling in integrating visual effects  with live-action footage. I've done it with pictures before but never real video footage. That said, this is my first video into this venture. Enjoy!

Nah, just my wall. I've been needing an excuse to add soundproof insulation in the first place :p

they look good.

but just a critique, your timing was off on a few of your shots... i.e. your muzzle flash didnt match where the barrel was at the time when the effect went off.

OTHER THAN THAT.

this is f*cking sweet. im keeping my eye on you  :hide
I came, i saw, i added a Sig.
Later gents, i have Youtube to take over.

Here's my second exercise. This time I went a step further and used 3DS Max in conjunction with it :)

Looks a little odd how it just appears, and the scaling seems a little off.  :p

The stabilization was very nice, though. Looked like it was part of the shot there.
