I do want to point out that although the PS3 and PS4 have different processors, and emulation engine wont be that hard for Sony to program, since they have both system architectures and understand how each work, which is most likely going to lead into a code translation program being set up inside the emulation engine for PS3 games, if and when they decide to implement it, as the backward compatibility is probably going to be handles like the PS3's, but in reverse, so going from none- to at least one generation back.

I think you're giving Sony a little too much credit. :P

Well at least they are worthy of too much credit, unlike Microsoft

"Beyond the rim of the star-light
My love
Is wand'ring in star-flight
I know
He'll find in star-clustered reaches
Love,
Strange love a star woman teaches.
I know
His journey ends never
His star trek
Will go on forever.
But tell him
While he wanders his starry sea
Remember, remember me."

The Xbox360, afaik uses parts that are the same as standard pc parts.  I'm pretty sure that the original xbox used pc parts.  Iirc, ye olde Xbox used a late model pentium 3.
I miss :bigdance:
