Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

"BCMI" and "BCMP" have been obsolete for years when it comes to installing ships.

I have enabled the mutators, when I install the ship and say for example the data folder do I just put in the data folder into the directory or do I copy the relevant data files into their sub folders?

just copy the folders in the extracted Rar file

ie: copy---- DATA , SCRIPTS etc into the bridge commander folder and say yes to all over rights

thats what i do any way :)

However, I dont know if this is the case, but If your running win 7, Vesta, or the like , BC neeeds to be installed in a folder other than Program Files, like \Games

just as a thought have you tried resizing all the large textures to 1024x1024? i just looked at the bcfiles page and it says in the readme that its  goth large textures which says to me its got 2084 textures and if your pc is any thing like mine it doesnt like it i resize and dont have many problems.

not sure if this helps

How about you tell us what BC are you using ;)
Let me ask you some basic questions:
- Did you patch your BC right after you installed it ?
- Do you use a Kobayashi Maru mod pack or do you use a custom build BC (with MVAM and NanoFX 2.0 Beta) ?
- What version (if you are using it) of Kobayashi Maru are you using ?
- How did you install your custom ships (in.e. JLS Prometheus) ?
- Are you using BCMI or BCMP ???
