windows 7 installation trouble

so i just bought this game and am having trouble getting it to install. i get to the main page where it says install help/support extras links etc. i hit install. some box saying designed by demoshield pops up for a sec then disappears. nothing happens. what can i do to get it to install?

if u mean the copy everything to another file then try running it from there i am currently trying that. i run the game from the setup folder and it takes me to a black screen. from there nothing. it is an improvement from running it from the same location on the disc. it goes to the black screen for a second before saying it isnt responding.. ive let the black screen run for awhile and it hasnt gotten anywhere yet.
