Post by: Vladko1 on May 23, 2011, 03:58:38 AM
Yesterday i started to model this:

The almighty 3-phase Tesla Roadster!
Here is my progress :)
The differences between the Almera project and the Roadster project are that the Tesla will be modeled with fewer poly, because the car is going to be for games!

try to remember that at least in GT5 it is slow as hell due to single-speed transmission..

It's done. The interior is made only to be something inside... not detailed at all. Here are some renders :)

You should do a GMC Sierra Denali HD next, then I would praise you as a god!

the only Sierra he'd do would be the ford one that was rebadged as a Merkur over here, mabey.  Europeans don't LIKE SUV's

The Sierra is a heavy duty truck...

I know both kinds.
I should have said trucks in general, though.  they don't seem to even USE pickups that much, let alone Super dutes like the one you were drooling at.

Downloaded and installed and 3D filter into 3ds max :dance And don't worry deadthunder about your Sierra, When i have time i'll do whatever i can for modeling her :)
Btw, i feel that i have to buy a card that can calculate double precision floats, because the quad core processor is the only thing that limits my capabilities in 3ds max :( I need tens and even hundreds of double precision floaps more calculating power!!!! I can create more and more photorealistic high quality renders with much more effects and quality and detail!
