Some interesting theories and promising!

Interesting yes, but the whole "exotic matter" thing kind of throws off the feasibility.

here is another article from a different site about this:
NASA Starts Work on Real Life Star Trek Warp Drive (http://gizmodo.com/5942634/nasa-starts-development-of-real-life-star-trek-warp-drive)

The fuel may not be available yet and not the means for a full scale test but the idea is behind it. The idea of splitting something as small as an atom was deemed impossible, now we can spin them around really fast and pick them apart. Let experimenting commence.

Another link (probably involving the same experiments):

As someone says that we all know and love, this is "fascinating".
If only we could all live long enough to see this actually implemented on a, dare I say it... starship

humanity is a long way off from this, maybe one day when its proven plausable, it will kick yet another space race off, but this time wed need to CONTINUE on it indefinately as a species, and not a governmental entity.

They have 50 years, 6 months and 18 days, to get a prototype "warp drive" operational. Some of us might still be around by then :)
