Hi all. I thought i would do this a little differently. Instead of having many different topics for our downloads, i'll jest update this one, i think that will save space. You can visit our main download page at :

It's a very good design but the hardpoint is just ugly :facepalm: , it has no front torpedoes and only one type of them , the shields are pretty weak , it has only one type of torpedoes ( even i can make a better torpedo script ) , the phaser are just way to spread on the back .But the design of the ship is brilliant :thumbsup: keep up the good work .

tried a few times whit no success , and one time i my BC just closed i think the Hardpoint needs a little work , but i will consider this a alpha because this can't be a final version :nono:

If that is the case, then someone forgot to include the projectile script needed to fire the pulse.

The defult pules buttion is P for the Quantoms. And if i must say, people worked hard on this, we all tested and liked it. KM is usualy a must for our mod and sorry that was not mentioned in the read me, but you comments on the HP's were way rude :mad:. Evil or not, you can say things nicer with respect.

i'm sorry if it seemed rude , i just don't like the hardpoint , the model is great and i love the texture but the HP is a little bad .

The ship itself is nice looking. The hardpoint could use a bit more work. There is no sound for the phasers. I have tried fixing this in BCUT but to no avail so far. The pulse launcher also isn't centered properly on the HUD and doesn't fire, even when I am directly facing an enemy ship.
Thanks for including textures that represent the Aventine though. :)

also a small increase in shields would be better , a cube can smash this relatively fast , and my biggest disappointment is that i never seen splitting torpedoes in a ship , that's why i upgraded the the photons on this ship to splitting photons and added a forward torpedo launcher and i now enjoy this great ship :thumbsup:

perhaps it's not meant to "smash" a Borg cube all alone.. :P hardpoints like that can be usually found in the BCFiles godship-department.

There is a difference between a strong ship and a god ship , and for a strong ship i would suggest the borg cube , but for a god ship , i think Andromeda it's the best thing outside god ships menu , but this is getting seriously off topic .Let me say it again great model , brilliant texture .

I wish that Tiqhud wouldn't make HPs based solely on KM. Not everyone uses KM you know. :(

G is the default for pulse-disruptors, but since you don't have KM of course you get a Crash to desktop

Well, including the torp and pulse scripts in the mod files would prevent such cases like the one Billz tends to get with a lot of mods. Putting that little extra effort into compiling mods cuts down on such problems with ease.

True it would BUT , I hadn't asked the KM team if I could Use.

And the KM team have used a wide variety of projectile scripts from various sources and a very large majority of this community have used different projectile scripts and textures and renamed some parts so they don't conflict and overwrite other torpedo mods. So the whole system has become so confused that you can't tell whose really belongs to who. If you want to be really accurate, a large majority of the torpedoes should be credited to Activision and a fella named Erik Novales since all people here have done have edited the original torpedo scripts. If there was ever going to be an issue of misplaced credit, this has gone on far too long for anyone to do anything about it.

no problem m8, I've only used the higher res textures so assuming its confined to 1024 textures? as the containing folder with them all in is labelled stargazer512...i just overwrit all files in that with the higher ones.

I'm not sure what causes it. Doesn't happen on mine anymore, but I'm not sure if Tiq used the new NIF where that issue was fixed when he uploaded it..

I've d/l what I assume is the file off the WIP thread but its a .3DS file, do I need to rename it .NIF and add it to the models/stargazer512 file?

well, as long as Filefront has issues with the images and such, I can't blame them. trek fans are nitpicky lot, and no screenies = no downloads. Also, they're still plagued by invalid file ID and such >.<

yeah tried to comment on BCF with them but wont let me. liking the pack but one niggle is when casting light on the ships all lighting seems to be reversed from anything else in my pics.
will add a pic to show what i mean, your Bozeman with KM stock Miranda top left and Bones Miranda to the right with lighting being cast from top

don't hold your breath, normally I don't like to say anything negative about the people I work with, but Break Media really hasn't been doing a very good job maintaining the network. Trust me, it's not the BCF or GF staff's fault, I can only hope that the people at Break can stop breaking things and actually fix something for once, before they scare off the whole community.
Anyways, rant over, why don't we all get back on topic :P

Well I have downloaded the Miranda pack and it works great for me. Very Clan models/textures. :thumbsup: Now to go play tag with Khan....

Tiq sorry it took so long to get back to you, been busy here in the RW for me as of late. I installed the Vintaak ship pack and the system when it was released. After I installed and started playing all the ships just started blowing up. The dock started taking damage, even though I was the only "enemy" ship in the system and not attacking it. After the dock blew up my game crashed and when I tried to start it back up again everything worked until I got to the Sov Bridge for quick battle. When I set everything up to play it went to the loading screen and started doing the stuttering KM loading screen with the Sov. I don't know hot to do a console report so I hope this helps.

there's a mod or two floating around that gets console reports automatically. one of them is by Mleo.
what tiq said above is: "we had Gavity Effects off while designing the system in order to get the dock and ships close to the planet". since Tiq and I are nearly the ONLY ones with older low end systems, we automatically turn gravity FX off to conserve resources. my graphics card is also pretty much built in, so it can't be changed easily (and would probably require abrand new CPU to even run)
drop the attached script into scripts/custom/autoload. log files will be automatically generated scripts/custom folder (and will need to be cleaned out periodically). copy and paste the contents in a "help" post with "[ code ]" and "[ /code ]" around it, without the spaces.

on some systems , you will need to creat a folder in your scripts---custom called 'Logs'
delete all tholian referenced pyc files , turn your Gravity Mutator off. After this DON't blow the station it can shut down BC.

Okay. Have the file and going in now to get rid of the Tholian .pyc files. I'll let you know what happens from there. AS for the low end system I feel your pain. My install is on a HP G60 laptop with integrated chipset.

i think there's a typo here

not only is this a folder direction error, ENTphotorp is a tactical script that was deleted from the NX pack. I'm having trouble with the "low" version of this pack with this error all the time.
EDIT: the ENTphotorp script is used as a pulse substitute in ALL the versions of the NX enterprise. i think the pulse system was removed, but not the individual cannons

I do have the Vintaak Ships. The other Tholian ships are the ENT Series Tholians and showed up as reinforcements through Galaxy Charts.

this ship has a typo in its Torpedo Script. the term "tricobalt" should be all caps
ENTPhotorp is with any of the NX packs. the script needs to be replaced in EVERY NX pack hardpoint.

the NX pack ships will always come up with that little "missing projectile script" perpetually. since the set is from LC Amaral, however, you really can't touch the thing. i couldn't find a repair anywhere for it.

Glad it worked, actually you just needed to turn off War Simulator, King is right, out of respect for LC [he does not like any changes to his ships] , so sorry we cant change anything there.

you know dang well that break media hasn't got the hint yet. since they're running the place like it was just another business (like some local places I know that think only of their bottom line), they'd probably just drop the whole thing outright if it wasn't generating hits.
now, for those of you who pounced on this (and to get it BACK on topic), there's an unfinished connie frame in the starbase.

The point is why should you have to keep refreshing to try and pull up the current page. I have to refresh 3 or more times and it usually shows the web page from March 31,2011. It would have probably have been better and less annoying if everything had been moved from the site like was being done. The only thing I see now are just tons of advertisements which becomes aggravating after the third refresh.
By the way this is in no way directed at you tiqhud I know your just trying to help.
That's why I'd like to know:
1.)Where can we go for updates?
2.)Is this being worked on? or is everyone just suffering in silence :(

no, we do not have a dedicated website. this is all worked on on the fly by individuals.
as for break media, don't get your hopes up. from the content of the ads alone, there may be no-one to be able to do repairs to the servers.

USS Bozeman, never even knew about this config till I downloaded your Miranda pack. I thought I would play around with it and it's pretty cool. I did decide to change the cannon though ;)

everytime I've tried to install any version of your Ent A it fudges my install( just get bridge displayed with broken gfx on viewscreen) and cannot get console report, so have to uninstall with bcut and delete my options file to get game to run again :cry: , I have your engineering kit installed also so cannot see it being that that causes my issue.

Just a suggestion, have you tried to re-download, then reinstall from new zipp, might be a bad zipp, [So many things can mess up a zipp]

Just rechecked the Zipp, we uploaded [everthing looks OK]
do check Uss Sovie-s thread
ALSO, do a search , for Mleos Console Logger here, you will find it VERY useful, in scripts-custom , you do need to create a folder titled " Logs"

yup its the second problem on that page, but happens even with a ship i know works as my starting ship when your ship is installed...did come to conclusion it was a hardpoint issue with the file but not had time to look properly myself, will have a good look later and see if i can see

TRY this turn off your MVAM, for now, see if they work. Also did the new HPs, sent to your email work?
Question: Do you still have SFRD_ConnieRefit512 on your system?
If so goto scripts-autoload-Mvam , and delet the 'SFRD_ConnieRefit512 .py and pyc
And do try those new HPs!

It's really good looking, but I'm gonna have to tweak the HP I think...you can't fire the pulse disruptors until you're almost right up on the enemy and it's extraordinarily tricky to get the hull disruptors to fire.

The IKS Amar is an early era-ed TMP klingon Vessel.
It was done like that for a reason, but that is Your install SO, go for it. :D

Hey tiq. I was playing around with Bazs KM last night and I noticed she doesn't have any warp sounds when she jumps. I do have the SFRD engineering kit so I was wondering if it might be a script error?

I'm having troubles with your DS9. When the central core gets hit with weapons, it goes transparent. Also, about 80% of the time it is in a battle, the game crashes. No console errors are given. I have no clue why this is happening. Any suggestions?

Hmm, no such problems were report during beta testing and since its release so not sure why it is a problem for your system?
Are the textures to big? or the model to high a poly count? not really sure what to suggest.

I'm having troubles with your DS9. When the central core gets hit with weapons, it goes transparent. Also, about 80% of the time it is in a battle, the game crashes. No console errors are given. I have no clue why this is happening. Any suggestions?
Hmm, I wonder, when I was HPing, and since I have an OLD system, am wondering if, the Fix did up , is the reason No one with lower systems reported, it seerms on Some systems the NIF calls for multi copies of the same texture, and that can overload the game. I will email you the Nif and textures, I and others used, it is not a problem with HIGHER-end system, but it can be with us lower-end systems [If I forget PM me]

sorry to hear that FrankPicard.... i just deleated all files to do with the hornblower from my system and downloaded the file from file front.
after install all is fine.
only thing i can think of is that maybe you missed something in the requirements or the download was faulty.
what browser do you use? and what unzip program? not sure if that would cause a problem.
i use Firefox and WinRar.

I gave it a 10/10 :yay: cookie for you my friend. The damaging issues are no more. Love the custom traveling method (transwarp) you must tell me how to add this tech to other ships I looked at the hp's, ship plugin's and the transwarp.py, but couldn't tell where you added this to the ship. None of my stock ships have this traveling method after I installed this mod. Somewhere it's installed on the ships thought it might have been installed like slipstream drive or maybe the warpcore or warp engines where differen't but they are using the regular EP_WARP. Anyways would love to know would like to equip this transwarp to my GalaxyX (dreadnought) to give it a warp 13 type drive.
One thing I noticed is that you equipped the two ships with fed ablative armor in the hp, but the ship plugin doesn't have it I'm not entirely sure how ftech works I know atp uses the affilation in hp but yours are just 0 so i assume it's ftech. But I thought you had to equip the ship plugin with fed ablative armor plates for every ship that has fed ablative armor I will show you what I mean m8. I went ahead and added the plates to my two plugins feel free to use them if you want.

some how i didnt even read the part about the tech lol thank you... wish i had realised it was missing the ablative armour tech
to be honest i wanted the transwarp method to only work with the transwarp core but could not figure how to add it that way so i just altered the output etc
