In the very near future, the forum will be going down for a period of time while we move the forum from its current server, to its new host. Once the move is complete, I will be hosting the site on my club's server. During this time, I encourage all to keep a look out at the BCS-TNG forums, as we will post there once the site is back up and running.
After the move, we will also be making some site upgrades. We appreciate your patience during this down time, and look forward to seeing you all on BCC in the near future.

If you guys would like, I would be willing to step up and allow the use of my forum as a temporary stand-in while BCC is down. I would just need some additional help in maintaining the forum. Mainly just a few more moderators.
Feel free to look at the forum, I haven't updated it recently because of my internet connection, but there's a vast array of threads sadly without any content. lol
Let me know if this sounds feasible for everyone.

shouldnt be very long at all... no more than a few days at most, im thinking... we've had longer periods of time down, when BCC would crash before lol

however, BCC wont be down for very long at all while we move... everyone here could use a few days off anyway and take a mini-vacation lol

Very soon and hopefully only 1 - 3 business days

That's part of the reason for the change. SMF (the software this forum uses) was built to, and can, handle much larger and busier forums than this one.
Also, once the server has moved, I'll be stepping up as webmaster.

all that'll do is drive me utterly banana's with boredom. this is the only board I'm a regular at, nowadays. and if my car keeps going knockers up...

btw - the last 24 hours of being down was not because of the move lol
we havent gotten there yet.. the last crash is why we're going there :P

Just to confirm the site will be going down tomorrow morning GMT time. At first it will just be in maintenance mode, then the site will probably disappear all together before finally returning to normal.
I would expect this to be all over and done with by the end of the week (Friday).

Ok everyone, the forums should be back to normal now - if anyone finds any problems please report them here.
