The two nicest Constellation Class models were one, by Bones and one made by the SFRD team.

Maybe hobbs my SFRD colleague (well we have personal lives but still when we had time we did some bc work) who I worked with on the SFX he gave me a few advice here and there still has those sfx or someone. Need them quick. Maybe J has them?

Thanks! Tried the first one and it looks far better than the one I was currently using. Cant find a link for the second, but it looks of similar quality.
For another request, I'd love to know what the highest quality freighters or transport ships are. I'm still using the games stock ones at the moment.

Depends on what your looking for. If you like using WalkFX, then I would suggest the latest Bridges made by 3rd Era|Excalibur Productions.

I dont use WalkFX. I'd also like it to be as compatible as possible with the SinglePlayer missions, so being light on excessive and unnecessary scripting is ideal.

In that case, your looking for re-textures. You can check out the old BCFiles archive, for the pics, and download them from the Dropbox archive.

I found a VoyagerBridgeV5.rar on one of my HDDs. Sadly, it doesn't include a readme.
I'll try to upload it in a while
Something craps out before the upload is complete.
The soonest I have a better ISP connection to try again is on Tuesday. If no one else uploads it before, I'll try it again then.

Does anyone remember if there was a Generations red alert klaxon that had all of the ambient bridge sounds removed? I was pretty sure there was, but I can't find it anywhere. It's not on Nexus Mods or the DropBox...

The rar file is 33mb, so its relatively large for a bridge.

The best one I can find, still has the ambient bridge noises from Star Trek Generations on it - namely the air conditioner and "engine" sounds. But there was, at one point, a Generations Red Alert sound file that had all of that removed, so you heard just the alarm.

oh man thank you very much for that ship! As of now my Daedalus class fleet is completed!
Now, for one more ship. As of yet, I know of a BC version of Detroyat exists but private, but I have to ask.. for the TOS fleet, has anyone ever done the Kearsarge and Texas class? I know SFP made the TMP version under the surname "Chicago Class", but I never really saw a TOS version.

No one has been uploading new mods to gamefront. Most of the Mods are now uploaded here or on my Dropbox.

There IS no problem. So, you will have to excuse my month long hospitalization and illness, that causes you to wait for mods (that I have to repack from my install) which I'm under NO obligation to post. Other than that, I'll uploaded when I get a chance. If it's not an inconvenience for you.

Agreed. Having maintained the BC Files catalog for over a decade; I can honestly say, there was no such mod posted there.

I know this may not be BC related, but I am on the hunt for a starship set from Starfleet command from FOAS/Furyofaseraph that was released besides BC and Robnomicon.
If I remember correctly, there was Federation, Romulan, Klingon, ISC, Mirak, Juva, and ISC. I asked NXadam1701 about this, but due to technical circumstances it has long since out of my reach.

Unfortunately I was not able to post this. My eyes were very red and hurt, so I had to take some Tobrex antibiotics for my eyes and lie in bed for the past day and something. It will be posted during the day. Sorry for not posting this as because of my condition.
Still, I hope this year is going to be good.
The new "revision" sfx pack is going to come with some new sfx some re-recorded some left untouched. For this instance I will not put so many sounds I've put before because there will be even further work after this. Maybe I'll try my hand at hardpoints again as I've tried, no one knows.

I've got an idea. To improve my audio quality even further, I'm going to get myself Adobe Audition Free Trial. I am delaying this, but only for a few days.

I’m trying to improve the downloads system. I just haven’t been able to work on it recently.
My hope is to be able to link an upload page in either the newsfeed or stickied at the top of this board. If I can get it to work and get it so that any of us Moderators or WebMasters can link it to the downloads section, that would be perfect, or give you all a link to do this yourself in the downloads section.

I am on the hunt for the rest of Gmunoz's Starfleet museum series. Does anyone happen to have a copy of any of his ships? I ask because out of curiousity I looked up his name on Deviantart and I've seen DOZENS of ships that I have not seen on filefront before its demise.

I've seen most of those ships. I think those TMP variants, were ships made for McKinney. It might not hurt to contact him threw PM; either on BCC or Deviant Art.

I also got some stuff from Phoenix, as well as a two Fed ships Zorg/Morpheus released in 2012. Seems like some of the BC stuff that seemed lost from 2012-2015 still existed on the website, just not in the bridge commander section (or any section for that matter). I found out that if you know the exact name of the zip or rar file, you can input it into the search bar of the gamefront online mirror and it provides a download link. I've been looking up archived homepages of bcfiles from 2011-2015, and I was able to pull up pages for most mods posted on the 'most recent files' section of BCFiles main page. I will try to upload this stuff either here or maybe in a dropbox page. It might take a while cause I don't have bc installed right now.

okay...as the last surviving(or at least active) member of SFRD (SFSY is Baz' creation after a screw up on MY part), i have to ask if you managed to get all the Systems we worked so hard on, the TE nebula bridge, and the TE and third fleet (?) Joan of Arc. I ask about the Joans specifically, because I issued a model and textures fix for them involving the bridge module pulse phaser cannons and the upper impulse deck housing. the TE Nebula bridge is exclusive to me and Tiq alone (only the two of us worked on that bridge), and that is my biggest mod contribution so far.

The Franklin has not been built for BC yet. However, I've seen a nice Franklin-model of the upcoming "Ages of the Federation" mod for SoaSE:R. Perhabs the model's author would permit its conversion for BC if asked kindly. :)

To be honest, I don't think so. :(
IMO, the Sun Buster is one of the original BC props never being modded, if memory serves.
A couple of years back, (2012 or 2013); I remember the Kessok Fleet ships models being updated though.

@Blackrook Yes, the entire Kessok set was updated by X_Unknown_X, plus he added a station as well (there was some model trouble). I have the entire unknown kessok set in my archives. plus, I updated the stocker's hardpoints, myself to give them a bit more punch.
he never had the Kessok set added to a mod, though. they were all standalones.
@Chess I think the Venture refit that wiley made is a purge survivor over at Nexus mods
and, frankly, one thing I was considering doing myself was the revamp for the Ferengi Marauder. whoever started the acttual model made a lovely piece with a decent poly count, then got rushed out the door with the texture.

Are there any good Klingon or Cardassian ship packs out there? None of the packs/ships that I've seen on Nexus seem to be an improvement (at least in terms of appearance) over the defaults in KM.

modern canon Klingon/Cardassian packs? not really. most people released things individually. the closest the Klingons got was whoever put together the Kobayashi Maru Klingon entries. the cardies got very little love at all when it came to their ships, and even then, some of them needed repairs. I have a good deal of individual cardy entries, but a lot of them need graphics fixes.

As far as Klingon ships go, Lint's were easily the highest-quality made for BC, but they have very high poly counts so just be aware of that - I should add that the high poly counts aren't really a huge deal; even BC's archaic and memory leaky engine handles polies well as long as the texture memory is reasonable. Wiley also made a Negh'var which is excellent as always when it comes to his stuff.

I'm currently looking for a dropbox archive that had only a few ships (like 7 or 8, maybe even less), mostly containing Phoenix's TOS ships. I had downloaded the ships to a folder which contained other ships and mods from GMunoz and SFRD, but I foolishly deleted the folder (I can't even recall when I did it). Thankfully, most of that stuff is saved on my dropbox archive, sans those few ships from Phoenix. I now can't recall who was the user who posted the like, and what thread it was posted in. I checked the "New Downloads Request" and "Dropbox Archive of BCFiles (and other backups)" threads, but I don't find the link. I think it might have been in a thread about filefront shutting down, but I can't find that thread either.

I have the Beta for Nix's TOS fed set. the only hiccup seemed to be confined to either XP comps or my then antique graphics card. I think between me and flowrellik we can get you back your missing GMunoz items.

I Just would like to fight a couple of good battles. Is there anywhere a downloadable modded and uploaded version of the game what I just download and play freely. If it quite ship-rich that would be the best. I Have no more time to trying but most important I have no more nerves... I appreciate every help. Thank you very much.

You might wanna post this in the tech support forum of the boards. As far as I’m aware? There isn’t anywhere you can download the game fully modded. Except maybe Kobayashi Maru and the Single Playwr mod.

If it's not there it's probably gone. Though the camera ship is not hard to replicate, I remember using something similar myself.
