Title: Eclipse 2017 (no, nothing to do with me)

So how many of you were in the path of totality?

I was! I live in Arizona, but my mom was planning on chasing it and decided to tag along. Ended up driving up to Wyoming just outside of Grand Tetan National Park.

Pictures don't do the eclipse's totality justice.

I've heard.  I wasn't in the path of totality, but it was awesome seeing the sky darken during the day.

It was the coolest thing I ever saw. The darkness was first gradual then very sudden, and it got noticeably colder. It was over in a couple of minutes but it was well worth the trip.

I live in Georgia, near the border with South Carolina. So, if was more like time reverting from 2:35 PM to 6:35 AM; with a 10* temperature drop. I saw the same thing when I was a child back in '79 (maybe giving away my age here) I wasn't impressed then, even less so now, lol.

Though, I did notice on my way to work; not much traffic and people took the day off for the eclipse, like any Holiday.
