Hi everybody,
i have a problem with my BC Game and I hope you're able to help me:
I have modded much today, installed 3 bridges worked and added also some maps which all worked until my game crashed. Now when I start BC, a little white square appears on my desktop and i can see BC in the task line but the game doesn't start. Do you have any help you can give me? I don't want to reinstall but to get my game working.

Try deleting your options.cfg. You will have to set all your settings again when you start up.
I admit, I haven't heard of such an error before, but it may just help to do the above in this type of case.

well, ok that doesn't fix the problem, i think, i have to uninstall :( At least i know whose of those mods and addons are relyable. Nevertheless thanks!

Did you install anything else (doesn't have to be BC related) before the crash?
Also, when did the crash happen?

No, i don't remember anything installed after the crash, it was nearly 3 hours ago and everything worked until the game went back to windows and disappeared from the task line
when i now start BC i can find the stbc process in the task manager

what shall i do?

After a complete reinstallation BC itself works perfectly but no bridge or mod even the 1.1 patch isn't working and a reinstallation after that doesn't help me anyway so if anyone has had this problem before: help me please

what, so you reinstalled BC and now you can't get it to install 1.1 patch and whatnot? am i understanding this correctly because if that is the case then i think your OS is having a problem with BC, what OS are you running?, XP, Vista.... Linux.......

Well, I reinstalled BC completely and deleted all patches and mods i had installed and started the fresh BC but it always stops at the loading screen and nothing happens since then. I'm using XP and some days before i had some mods installed and BC worked perfectly. Thaks for any help.

actualization:
I deleted all Files related to BC and reinstalled. The game worked perfectly but trying to add any ship or any bridge doesn't work. Can you help?

You did install the Foundation?

Yes, i installed Foundation and Nano FX 2.0, then some ships worked but only those which were a mutator, the other weren't displayed!

Which mutators are on?
I take it you activated atleast the first 3?

The "stock" mutators (stock ships,..) are on an also one with the TOS crew and a mutator for Nano FX 2.0

Then which ships have a mutator?

the stock ships and extra ships (MVAM Prometheus, improved Galaxy) have mutators

TBH, the actual ships don't have mutators, but the scripts that do MVAM does have one.
Could you get me a screenshot of the QB ship selection menu?
You will have to do it the old fashioned way with Paint, since BC blocks the screenshot function in that menu.

You also have the NX 01 as an extra ship.

Can someone help me? I discovered a problem at the BC Central Site: When I'm outside of this post, the buttons "Home", "Help" and so on change into small buttons and I'm not able to post a new thread. Because of that I have to ask an other question here:
i would like to know if there's a way to scroll down at my mutators because after installing KM 1.0 the list of mutators got long. is there a mod who places a scroll button like those ones at the ships or bridges? thanks for all help!

Yes and no, yes, you can scroll down (look at the bottom), and no, it's not needed anymore since that entire menu scrolls now.

Ah, i used Firefox (newest version), that didn't work perfectly.
For scrolling the mutators there aren't any buttons!

Ok, I thought you installed KM, anyway.
You either want UMM or a specific "Scrolling Mutator" mod.
UMM is also included in KM. I suggest you look at the List of Mods in Mods & Downloads, it has links to everything you need for UMM.
