Everytime I put in 5 ships or more the game crashes to desktop...
No choppyness at all..just crash
with my system it should run very well...any help would be appreciated...
if its a memory issue I have 5gigs,some games have a default memory setting in the .exe,I dont know how to change that but it would be usefull for people with a 64bit OS..

And will deleting the scripts folder in BC and replacing it with the one from the SDK cause it to crash alot?

Sounds like one of the ships you used is missing a torpedo.
Have you tried every one of the ships seperate (as the player, against an asteroid or station that doesn't fire back)? And then each torpedo it has?

Well I found something odd...I delete starsphere.nif and im getting no crashes(so far anyway..)...I put it back in and then the game crashes,it seems to do nothing in the game though(that file).
I hate reinstalling the game,get problems that I didnt have before:-)
I will keep testing it, and ill search for missing torps and keep ya updated..

Will it also crash if I modified speciestotorp.py to add my own torpedo?, I added my own torpedo in there with Future technologies enhancements.

Depends on what you did.
The SpeciesToTorp.py is only important for MP games.
The important thing is, is one of the ships using that particular torpedo?
And if so, have you tried running a battle without the ships using that torpedo?

Yeah I got it, had to do with my new torpedo and Future Tech..thanks for the help
