I just got Poser 7 the other day, so I decided to update my avatar a little bit.

Nice start, but the shoulders need some smoothing and the image needs some AA

Models are very nice, lighting and textures need some more adjustments, specially the f-14... lighting at it is wacky.
Overall is a very good progress.

yeah the F-14 was a bit of a quick fix to cover the Stargazer, it isn't a model, its a photograph, I will try and tweek it a little more if I get the chance.

depth and scale are a difficult thing to get right when combining CGI with a photograph, especially when I didn't take the photo.

It's all about the lighting. Get it right and it can fool people.

well, I know this is an old thread, but I figured that it's my thread and it's on the same subject, so here's a couple new avatars I just made.
I am trying to decide which to use, I may add a poll.

of course, the final avatar will be smaller
