Title: NIF Plugin for 3dsMax 3

I have 3D Studio Max 3, but it doesn't import/export .nif files. Can i get the plugin from the sdk if so where abouts is it located and then when i have loacted it which folder do i put it in, in the 3dsmax3 folder?

Yes, the plugin is in the SDK, look in Tools.

Copy the file to the plugins directory of 3DS Max 3.

thanks is it the STBCExporter.dlu?

when i open 3ds is still can't open nif's

The plugin, as the name implies, only exports. It doesn't import.
It's also not under save (or save as). But under Export (I think).

lol well that might be why. sorry not with it today. is there away to import nif files?

Milkshape or NifTools.
But even then not the stock bridges.
