could you give us a link to specifically the file you are refering to?  there are several "Battlestar Galactica Ship Pack 1.0" mods on BCfiles.

Does the screen go black?

In then it's NanoFXv2, in which the blinkers are known to make the screen go black.
I'm afraid there currently isn't much of a fix for it. :(
Other than not to warp, which causes it, any ship that enters a set (from another set) with blinkers, will cause the screen to turn black.
I call it the inverted blinker problem.

And yes, posting a link to the mod is a good idea, contrary to popular belief, I can't read peoples minds and see every mod they have installed or even the faulty mod.

Oh not at all no BSOD, funny thing is the ship works great i just can see it, and i can only see a flash if i zoom on to the other ship, or if i fly really close to it, it's weird   8)

I wasn't speaking of a BSOD either.

I think it could be a hp problem. The views could be setup wrong.

Load the ship then press F9 and F3 for enemy view.

You should be able to see your ship behind the enemy's.
If you can, it sounds like the Camera views as MLeo mentioned.
If you can't it can be one of two things;
1. Inverted blinker problem as MLeo mentioned.
2. Corrupted vox files in your models folder, (usually happens when a model takes damage): Delete them and try again - the game will recreate them.
