				1. (Primary) Some ships in my BC install just do not show textures. All they are, are bare, naked models, I've included a screen shot. Note, the 3 ships are the new assimilated connie, the Terran Empire Ambassador, and the CG sov.

 2. The error report for the assimilated connie says that I am missing a lot of borg functions.
-
Regarding the missing textures, the only reason i can think of is that you may not have installed the textures into the correct directories,
Depending on what drive your BC is installed on the textures should be extracted to
C:\Program Files\Activision\Bridge Commander\data\Models\Ships\CGsovereign or whatever the ships name is. if you cant find a folder for the ship missing the textures try extracting it again.
-
You forgot to include the console report.

Also, depending on your computer, it may be unabled to show the CG Sovereign textures (you didn't install the Ultra high textures, did you?).
-
Could you give me a link to the mod?

-
Sounds like possible texture file corruption.

Did you get any crc errors when you were unpacking the mods?
-
I did not get any errors when unpacking, perhaps my ancient pre-2000 era PC simply cannot handle the graphics? This texture-less problem also happens with LC's ambassadors. As for the link for the borg connie, http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/_Borg_assimilated_Constitution;84463 (http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/_Borg_assimilated_Constitution;84463)

				It's possible.
What video card do you have?

It appears that the mod didn't include the projectile files it needs.
Is BC crashing? If not, did you also install my Detail Fixing mod?
If that's the case, then that's saving you. ;)

Ask the author (e-mail in the readme) to release the projectile files.
-
My video card is the stock vid card that came with my PC. I have no clue what it is as I got it from a friend and didn't bother to ask. BC does not crash immediately, however, if I try to fire torpedoes, it does. Pardon my ignorance, but what is you detail fixing mod? Is it the SDT? If you provide a link, I will definitely download it. :)

-
judging for the look of it, if you can handle the glows on the nacelles, then your card can handle textures in BC.
what graphic setting do you have? what detail level?
to see what card you have type "dxdiag" in start menu -> run. there, in the Display tab, if you have DirectDraw and Direct3d enabled, it should run fine. it might be a wrong path to the textures.
-
It's not SDT, it's another old mod of mine.
Nolonger up for download (I think), mostly because it's rather old.
Basicly, it allowed for more than 4 torpedo types, and it made the torpedo system more robust (ie. not crashing BC if the projectile isn't present).

If you had mentioned that when you fired Torpedoes it crashed, then we just had to point you to the FAQ sticky at the top and then pointed you to the mod author for the projectile files.

All in all, contact the mod author for the projectile files.

-
GFX screen shot attached, also NFX is at high across the board. Also, Mleo I think my GFX card is visible in the picture and thank you for showing me my error. I will contact the author for the projectiles.

-
i have had an issue in the past when if i had the colour depth set on low some ship textures did'nt show up..

-
Unfortunately, as you can see, the option to toggle high/low color is greyed out, and when I try to force it to run in high, BC gives an error and then crashes.

Edit: Actually, I think I have no clue how to force it to run on high color.

				An Integrated Video card.

Most, if not all, integrated video cards are subpar.

In case of your model (atleast, this appears to be your model) at the latest drivers, it supports textures of a maximum size of 1024x1024, I know that of atleast the CG Sovereign it has few maps below 1024x1024. Anything higher and they will not show up.
-
So any textures higher than 1024x768 will not show up? Depressing, but not surprising.

-
1024x1024 to be precise. Memory likes power of 2 sizes. ;)

But I'm afraid this is the sad case. :(
-
Ok, makes sense. Well, computer you earn a sad look and the use of the ever festive 300 crossover Santa.  :spartasanta:
