Hi, I just wanted to know if there is anyway to tell a ship to launch a certain escape pod other than the stock one. Just I wanted to retexture the escape pod and tell the ship i'm working on to launch that one instead when I abandon ship.

As far as my memory serves me right, I'm afraid not (at the moment atleast, but I don't know of any improvements in the making).

Right, thanks anyway. Looks like i'll be replacing the stock escape pod :D

Of course, the best way to find out if something is possible would be to check the readme of the mod.

it seems to me that there is something in KM that gives certain ships certain pods, in a similar manner to the core eject script, but I don't know how it did it.

I've looked, and in leymans terms it's basicly a fixed list.

Hmm, I'll have to just retexture the original and overwrite it. If a mod comes out in the future that lets me do what I want then I can release an update for it.
