Title: Scale model of a SciFi subject.
Post by: Viper on February 07, 2008, 03:31:32 AM
Well, kinda.  This is an Anime Angel that I just finished for my fiance for V-day.  She loves anime angels, so I hope she likes it.  The only areas that are brush painted are the jewelry [gold enamel] and the facial features.  The rest is all airbrushed.  I used acrylics throughout [except gold].  the base is a piece of driftwood.  the wings are my favorite.  they came out so much better than I expected them to.  Well, here it is...

And as an added treat, here are the other SciFi figures I've done.

The older Spock image looks better than the young image of him... excellent work nonetheless :D

Incredible work....

Are these models all hand made?, if so your workmanship is of top quality!!. My favourite has to be the older Spock, I really like his stance and facial expressions!!  8)

I hope we can see a few more of these Viper, it's the best post to come out of the graphic art forum in a long time.   :)

Thanks Weasel.  I put a lot of effort into it.  thats why its so special.

As for the T-800 head, i got it off ebay for like $30.  Put a couple cheap LEDs in the eyes.  Then painted it using all of about 4 colors.  I'm thinking of getting another one soon.  This one is used to hold my beret for the Army.  Looks awesome with the beret on it.

where's the yamaguchi?

under the new rules, I cant say what I want to here.  that $%#@# ship has given me more $%@#@$ problems than any other model I have built.  I have to repaint the whole $%#@2$% thing.
