Title: Saffi Trippin' Out - (Generations Bridge)
Post by: Billz on April 15, 2008, 07:51:57 PM
Not sure why, but any time I play the Generations Bridges, Saffi's arms always seem to be in a position like she is working on a console infront of her. This is going on all the time on this bridge. She never seems to put her hands down like on the default galaxy bridge. It doesn't stop the game in anyway. Its just a minor annoyance. They move about like she is on a console aswell.

Screenshot attached.

(I was messing around with Walk FX at the time. I swear.  :) Thats the reason the camera view is where it currently is).

I suspect other characters are doing the same thing?

Could it be that you have NanoFX disabled.

Beware, there isn't a real dependancy on NanoFX, it's just that NanoFX does a certain thing that can deactivate parts of BPCore if NanoFX is turned off.
Though a fix for that has been released.

Nope. Just Saffi.

I havn't turned NanoFX off since it was installed. Although if there is a fix out already, a cookie would be its way to you if you could point me towards the fix.

Then you won't need it.
It was distributed with the latest BPCore.

It could just be a faulty animation.
Or a typo in the bridge plugin file (not BPCore), giving Saffi the default animation (of the stock D-Bridge).

So, any ideas how to fix it?

Attach the plugin, it was already past midnight at my previous post, and I've been up for more than 22 hours, so I'm not really up (no pun intended) to a spot of debugging.

The one that defines the bridge (in scripts/Custom/Autoload).
galaxyrefit.py if memory serves me right.

@Jimmy, I'm so happy this isn't a chat session!

I would settle for 2 things, one, a pill with all the nutrients I would need on a day, on a release when needed basis (meaning surpus just gets flushed) with enough fibers for a healty intestin (sp) channel. And a way to rest (both mentally and bodily) in a reasonably short period, say, 15 minutes to an hour.

I wanted to use a quote from a TNG episode to describe the results of the altered file, but I can't remember the episode. You may know the one I mean when you see the screenshot result of the altered file, lol.

Thanks for responding so soon.

Would that be scripts/Bridge/Characters/galSaffi.py?
You don't happen to know from the top of your head which animation I would need to change?
