I got it yesterday and it blows Legacy away.

I havn't played it, But from what i have seen it looks like a watered down version of BOTF

I thought it was a revamped Star Trek Armada except set in a Star Wars: Battlefront II kind of way (you create ships before the battle etc.)

Well, on Wii, it's really good. Although things happen quite quickly.

Since it's not for pc, it does not exist. Star trek conquest is just a rumor, a prank to get peoples hopes up. Just like GTA 4, there's no such thing. I don't get people sometimes: there's a trend to put all things into one gadget: the mobile phone - ever more powerful cameras, GPS with maps, u listen to music or radio even watch tv or browse the web and many other stuff. But with pc, well there's money to be made. Why pay 600$ for a decent comp when u can buy 4 or 5 consoles to play different stuff u might like. Anything made for consoles can be made for pc's and work better. Sorry for getting off track but It's how I feel about this. :(

I have the game on the wii, its good... but it gets a little repetitive after a while, and you get owned... easily :lol:

I love my PC. I don't know what I'd do without it. And games are just as good on other consoles. I would have liked to have seen this on PC but remember Legacy? People whined on about how it wasn't suitable for PC. Because Bethesda hadn't originally intended for it to be on PC. :evil:

Actually, Bethesda was forced to publish those games because Maddoc already had them. They were a bundled deal with the rights, so to speak.

Anywho, as for this conquest... if it's not for PC then I'm not even going to consider it worthy of a glance. :/ Just imo; I can't really be bothered with consoles anymore.

Cor, go away for a few moments and BANG! Hell's been let loose. I just wanted to talk about this new game which I hoped would be a significant improvement from Bethesda's other experiences...
I think the targeting is a bit hard (if you have it on Wii) as you have to move the Wii-mote around so that the cursor lands on an enemy ship. And when you're in arcade mode (hands-on battling), the turrets are really annoying as it's hard to destroy them. It took an Intrepid, 2 Defiants (both blown up) and a Galaxy (me hehe) to destroy about two in 5 minutes.
And I like reading. I just seem to lack in the "look" department.

Why, because I don't play consoles? :( Since I upgraded my PC, I've lost interest in them. Additionally, I far prefer the mouse & keyboard over a controller. The only reason I think I'd get a console is for Halo 3, simply because I want to finish the series and see how it all comes down. But even then, I'll just use my dad's x360. I'm not sure where single-mindedness comes in when it's a matter of preference? [Though I will admit, my "worthy of a glace" statement was rather harsh... so you got me there if that's what you're referring to, and I apologize.]
In any case, it doesn't look too bad, but like you've said, nothing revolutionary [that's what Excalibur is for, isn't it? ;)]
Anyways, where's the torpedo and phaser fire? I'm only seeing disruptors... I didn't even think Cardassian ships had weaponry like that? Kinda cool, though... I always pictured them as more of a disrupter-style species.

Isn't it against the law or something to use a name on a game that has been used on a game that was made before it already?

Saw it on IGN when searching for Bethesda's Conquest months back.
Sigh.
btw they even gave it a 6.8 and a 8, But it never reached the stores here XD
