This is the Legacy Class mesh created by kaden. I started mapping and texturing this ship a few weeks ago, and since school has now started, I have less time to work on it. So far, I have the top saucer, bridge module, and parts of the engineering hull textured with alpha channels. I used the high-res blueprints as a template, then I made the textures from scratch. Enjoy these pics! :D

 Awesome Wiley! Great to see you back in action and have a cookie.
-
jaw on da floor....it looks great
-
Thanks for the cookies. :D I almost forgot to note-- the original mesh did not have any phaser arrays modeled in. I am adding those.
-

searching desperatley for words.
this is stunning work and is on my... nr2 of favorite wips

Wow. Gorgeous. I can't wait to see her fly at last.

its my mesh btw :)
are you going to make the textures look a bit more realistic? at the moment its just looking like the drawings, but very nice so far with the windows and phasers
-
Nice, I can't wait to see the Nacelles pan out.

Well this ship is a combination of the Intrepid, and Sovereign classes. As I recall, Voyager didn't have that much surface detail. With the variants I've seen, there wasn't that much detail.

Doesn't mean you can't add some. ;)

I disagree. I think this ship is shaping up perfectly as it is. In fact, one thing I dislike about the Sovereign Class is that it looks TOO detailed in certain areas. Especially on the secondary hull.
Good job Wiley. You deserve a cookie for this one.
-
it's very true to Kaden's original work. To me, that's a good thing.
-
Nice stuff, Wiley.
-
I also agree on the surface detail...but possibly a little more contrast on the aztec would make everyone happy...I can't wait to see this ship completed..its a perfect heavy cruiser style for the late 24th to early 25th century ship...
-
Detail is already excellent.
Awesome job on this.

I meant that if he wanted to, he could. I personally agree that it looks perfect as is so far.
-
i think a spec map showing off the aztecing a bit would make it look great. the ships meant to be that enterprise A white colour
-
i think that the large observation windows are just a little to "blue", try desaturating them a little bit. other than that, great work. i have been looking forward to this ship for quite a while

I wished I could do someting like that. But I can't. I was only the one that asked if someone could bring it ingame.
Kaden is the one how need's the get all the credits. Nice start on it. I can't wait to see the final version.

:) Don't worry, I fixed the mesh's creator in my first post.
I added some faint "aztecing" for the engineering hull. I started working on the details for the ventral side of the engineering hull. I also changed the registry spotlight for the engineering sides.

One suggestion: Is it possible to tone-down the blue hue in the windows? As far as I know, no starship regularly has blue illumination throughout the ship, other than certain select ships using "code blue status". But that's only used under rare conditions, and not used all the time.
Texturing is shaping up really nicely thou.
-
well, possible it's just me but I dont like the aztecing too much, I liked your earlier better ;)
the clean design really fits to the ship.
but as i pointed out earlier, possibly just me...

i am inclined to agree... i never really did prefer blue windows, tho i try to ignore them when they are on ships i really do like...
-
I changed the texture of the windows by using pictures of the interior rooms. I like these better. I am trying to find a better pictures to use for the conference rooms.
-
she's so cuuuute ;)
did you use the promie bridge in the second picture?
-
Very, very nice. I'm always a fan of how your ships look.
-
did you use the promie bridge in the second picture?
Yep.:D I needed something round for the middle of the rooms, something that looked like a table. The Prometheus bridge seemed to look right.
-
They still seem quite blue to me. Not as bad as the original, but I think they still need to be more white.
-
How about these windows? :)
-
Wiley. Stop it. Just stop. That's just... no. Too d@mn amazing. Like, whoa dude. Just whoa.
...
FIRE COOKIE TORPEDO!
-
Much better :D
-
i think stunning is the right word here.
gave you a cookie for an amazing work ;)
-
I'd tone down the window's saturation...
Looks strange at the moment.
Good overall quality, though! 8)
-
I want it!
BTW...is that Picard's ready room I see? :P
-
and Kirk's apartment.

Yeash! NAsty purple.
Great ship though.

Well, he's not done yet, so the purple may just be a place holder. :P
-
That's a Texporter-purple
Indeed. People need to ease up on their critisism when they don't know what their looking at.

any new updates on this one?

any new updates on this one?
The "forbidden" question has been asked. My answer is one word- school. School and work has slowed progress on any BC mod I have been creating. I will work on this when I have time for it. I have not given up, I think of it as a short break, and I work on it in my free time. So, this mod is temporarily on hold, and I will update it when I have worked on it.
-
Hey, someone stole my real name! :P
Take your time Wiley, we ALL should realize that school comes first.
