				Are those real models?

-
				The mean, green killing machine.

The mesh is incredible, but it's just too green for my liking. I understand that it has to be green to be Klingon in the TNG era, but have you tried different hues?

Don't let me slow you down too much, though, your work is incredible.

 Cookie incoming...

Raven, make the standard version a darkish green color like the DomWar era K'T'ingas and Vor'chas.

-
				Looks great to me.

Ok, here are two new shots after some hue, saturation and lightness adjustments. I have tried to get the color as close to on screen as possible, covering both fully lit and dark representations, as well as the studio model by itself.

I will work on the weathering once I get the hue down right. Let me know if this looks right to you.

 This one's the best IMHO!

Wow, dude. This is really cool. I'm impressed at the speed you're able to pull these off. I'm still struggling with that silly Mithra. :P

Very cool. As always, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work. :) Keep them coming, dude!

Thanks, the more I want to leave the textures alone, the more I mess with them lol.

I might end up just redoing the entire set. I upsized the textures to 2048s, so the current textures are a bit fuzzy.

The problem is that most modern klingon textures have very few line details on panels, a kind of mellato sort of coloring (a slight hue mixture of forest green, a blueish hue and a sort of brown) as well as alot of weathering, so this redo will be a challenge. I want her to resemble the Neghvar, so the textures have to be as close to the Neghvar style as possible.

For the sake of keeping with canon, paint some of the panels a really dark shade of violet.

				applauses to you Raven!
you're leading the Empire in the 25th century

just focus on one thing: if you want to get a show-like aspect, the trick is on the lighting on the game (in other words, what map you test the ship in). the show models are overall light in colour. sort of "washed" paint.

The one called "reference" looks like it came from DS9!

				That's because it did.
