This is a thread to let people know what are some of the ships they're missing out on, some great modders are out there and some of the ships on BC Files don't have as many downloads as the more celebrity ships (Not creating an insult there). So which are your favorite not known ships?
Mine has to be the Bonaveture-F, the ship is a powerful ship, what to me looks like a little cousin to the Enterprise-J. What suprises me is that the ship only has 169 downloads, the ship needs some more.

Don't you find it strange that all the old ships have poor textures. They could have easily of made them better but why didn't they. Even at the same resolution!!
Anyway, I think the Galaxy Evo Titan is an overlooked ship.

overlooked? Well, how about alot of rick sternbacks concepts? How about low poly models from A1, especialy the stock romulans such as the shrike and moder made ships like the Kaldor? Cardassians are under modeled as are Romulan. And we have nothing in the way of decent looking quality sona.

Well, we see as far back as 2004 that ships could be really high quality (SNS Galaxy). But I don't think that we just have better texturing skills now than when BC was back in it's early days. After all you increase the resolution and create it all in photoshop.

There was one ship that looked like almost a 25th century olympic class. I can't remember the name of it for the life of me, but it sure looked neat... :)

As for an overlooked ship I'm actually gonna say DJ's Galaxy Class. Apart from when it was first released, i've never seen it in the top 25 downloads on BCF. And when it's on potd's a lot of people always ask what Galaxy class is that.

As for an overlooked ship I'm actually gonna say DJ's Galaxy Class.
I couldn't disagree more. It simply doesn't have the appeal the SNS does.

Truth is, DJs Galaxy Class is the only one I use cause of the Saucer Seperation. :P

I feel that DJ's Galaxy is less vibrant than the SNS. The SNS sorta shouts "look at me!" while DJ's sorta sits there.

a separate thread can be made for that, in this forum, if you guys would like to discuss the pros and cons and such...

The Vulcan Ships released by Cliper, like the one just released today. I hope he makes an intrepid version.

This one I think needs more downloads, it's a great ship, a different design, and non-aggressive. Plus it's TMP. TMP is always awesome.

I see many of you still like post nemesis sovereign, if you could point out which version you like most (V.1 or V.2 with black hull platings) it would be very helpfull for me in making V.3 ;)

My favorite ship is the Supremus Class.
was my favorite for a loing time.
but you can see the similarities to the century and if you compare both, the supremus is missing alot of detail imo...

guys - i think the thread is starting to go off in a different direction lol
this one isnt so much about what people's fav ships are, its moreso about which ships are pretty decent that may have not gotten many downloads or had much "spotlight"... the unique ones, yet ones that people may have forgotten about that may deserve the attention or recognition they may not have...

The Zandura on BCF is a pretty intersting design. It has some potential. I think it's been overlooked.
How about the Clandestine??? j/k :D, although i do wish I could see it once in a while in the top 25 downloads. I think the CGI Voyager hasn't got as much attention as it should have.

CGI Voyager is nice, I am waiting on CGI Voyager 2.0 so I'm modding the Original for personal use :P

StarForces C9A BattleCruiser, BEST KLINGON Ship ever imho, try it if you havent already. I gave mine more teeth with MPE.
